Actually I do not really understand what it means. The movie just scened about what an editor is doing. About how can Brett met her idol, Archie. Archie is a senior editor, and a friend of Brett’s aunty. In my country, Archie just like a phedophil. He dates many women more younger than him. And Brett fall in love with him. Not just because Archie is a chief of a great publisher company, but for Brett; Archie would give her a chance to increase her job, editing.
Archie thought Brett, how can you write something that it ever written by someone before. It’s about when you have to focus about what you have to think at the time. The movie just told me about what an editor must be. And it said that ; “most editors are failed writers, but so are most writers.” –T.S Elliot
As an editor you must be looks like my first editor; Kak Ferdy! You must see how specific what you want to edit. You must see where is the coma must be, or the P symbol placed. Okay,but New York and TVRI is so much different. That what I saw in themovie, when you say no, it must be no, New York editors must be a critically talk about everything. Sometime, they just look more controversial than the writers.
And out-of-thetopically, the movie just showed about, again, a choice. Even Brett loves Archie so much, and he screamed at the hospital : “I AM HIS GIRLFRIEND AND I HAVE SEX WITH HIM” but finally Brett realized that she only looked Archie as her teacher, not more. And they canceled their marriage.
A love is need to edited, sometime.
So, I think. It’s about an editor that fell in love an it must be edited too, and she is a girl from suburban city. Is that?
I need my own editor, but he won’t be an oldest man. :D
